Sign up for the Basic Riders Course if you haven't had much experience or if you've never ridden at all.  We also get a lot of  requests for the basic course from riders who rode ten or twenty years ago and want to re-enter the sport with an advantage.  It's a terrific way to remember how to ride  If you're under 25 years old, you must first have a valid class C learner's permit or an unrestricted class C license.  To obtain your M endorsement in Texas you must complete the Basic Course first. The state only requires an on-cycle evaluation, when applying for a Texas motorcycle driver's license, if you're under 18 years of age. Most insurance companies offer discounted rates upon completion.

In the basic course, we teach you how to operate a motorcycle, the best protective clothing to wear, how to avoid dangerous situations, and how to get out of those dangerous situations you can't avoid.

You learn how to make your motorcycle perform like an extension of yourself.  The best part is you don't even need a helmet or motorcycle.  We provide them for you.

Price is according to location. Check that page for price infomation.  Payment must be made in advance and is non-refundable if you cancel your appearance without 72 hours prior notice.  Under certain circumstances payment options may vary, call to see if you qualify.

When you come to class be sure to wear the proper gear for riding.  We require you to wear a long sleeved shirt or jacket, long pants, sturdy shoes that cover your ankle bone (boots or high-top athletic (non-canvas) shoes), eye protection (eyeglasses, sunglasses, or goggles), and full-fingered gloves.

The Advanced Rider Course is for experienced riders only.  You work with other riders like yourself.  Since advanced students use their own motorcycles, you'll see all types of bikes, from cruisers to sport bikes to touring machines.  Most insurance companies offer discounted rates upon completion.

No matter how long you've been riding, the advanced course is tough enough to challenge your skills.  You learn about high-speed maneuvering, quick swerving and avoidance techniques, countersteering, traction control, and emergency braking for curves and slippery surfaces.  Skills you can use whether you're touring cross-country or just riding down to the corner store.

When you come to the advanced course be sure to bring the proper gear for riding.  We require you to wear a DOT approved helmet, a long sleeved shirt or jacket, long pants, sturdy shoes that cover your ankle bone (boots or high-top athletic(non-canvas) shoes), eye protection (eyeglasses, sunglasses, or goggles), and full-fingered gloves.  Of course you'll have to provide your own motorcycle.  It's a good idea to check it over thoroughly a day or two before the course so you won't have to worry about the bike during the range exercises.  And don't forget to bring your driver's license (with motorcycle endorsement) and proof of insurance with you to class.

(MPC) has been designed to offer training and skill development that is not readily available in mainstream motorcycle education courses. The program is specifically intended for riders of touring bikes, large cruisers, and sport touring bikes. Operators of sport bikes, scooters, extended rake custom choppers and trikes will not get the full benefit of this curriculum due to the design limitations of those vehicles.

The goal of the MPC is to equip the experienced motorcyclist with enhanced collision avoidance training, low speed maneuvering skills and the confidence needed to become a safer motorcyclist.

The MPC consists of nine skill drills and it takes approximately half a day to complete.

Admission Requirements:

  • All students desiring to take the MPC course must hold a current Class M license.
  • It is recommended, but not required that the students have at least 3 years experience as a motorcyclist.

Documents Required:

  • Valid driver license with “M” endorsement
  • Proof of insurance

You Must Wear the Following Protective Gear:

  • DOT-approved helmet
  • Leather or textile protective riding jacket
  • Long, sturdy pants
  • Sturdy boots or footwear that completely covers and protects the ankle
  • Eyewear protection
  • Leather or textile full-fingered gloves
